The new generation's displacement bump to 853cc from 744cc raised the power output significantly to 65hp and 54lb-ft of torque. But the juice is in how the Guzzi V7 delivers the power. Below 3000rpm, the motor is relatively tame and hesitates at roll-ons, although it doesn't hustle pulling away off a stop light.
It feels stable and unstrained on the highway, even at speeds exceeding 120kmh. It's not buzzy nor vibey. It does, however, prefer to be revved. The power really only comes on past 4500rpm which, without a Tachometer on the Stone, will have to be determined by feel and sound.

I’m trying to work out what gear / speed feels better ( on the boil - as they would say) for each gear. I still have the factory shift light enabled it seems to be 60km / 80km / 100km for 2nd/ 3rd / 4th I haven’t *found* the shift light for 5th it was above 120 Km/h - I already shifted to 6th.
