Best HUD size is you can easily all portions of your HUD with a slight glance (such as mana cost) Best Cursor size is one you can track in a teamfight and not lose due to all of the effects. I like 50 for Hud, so that I can see CDs, Mana, ping stuff like my Mana, backspell, sumspell, ult, etc. and see the enemy window on the top left for runes

For those with a 4k monitor out there like me: This patch riot added the option to increase cursor size. If you still think it's too small, you can change the size by editing the game.cfg file in: \Riot Games\League of Legends\Config. The third line is CursorScale=1.0000.
A High Resolution Monitor Decreases League's Playability. I just bought a Samsung 28" UDH monitor and I would like to report my findings on the user experience as well as share what I believe is a significant flaw in the current game. Imagine having a laser pointer and an 8x8 cell image. As you move the laser pointer around the mouse cursor will also move, but only when you cross a line. If you increase the grid size to 32x32, but contain it to the same area, the mouse cursor will move more frequently (1 pixel per movement or line cross). This is what is happening in a mouse.

Since a few days, sometimes when I get into a game, my normal league mouse coursor has a white border and I can't click anything, no spells, no right click to attack, nothing. Bigger cursor and ultra wide monkey upgrade windows. two things i can think of that would improve my experience with the game, the first being a bigger cursor that isn't orange. too often my mouse cursor becomes hard to see as there is usually a lot of orange on the screen and projectiles flying everywhere by round 90. 6Msl.
